The Struggle with Allergies...

So if you can't tell, I'm Filipino, which is Asian. And as we all know, a staple in an Asian diet is rice.

Well, I'm allergic to rice. Yes, an Asian is allergic to rice. And let me tell you, it's frustrating. While I try my hardest not to eat rice, everyone else in my family is just passing the rice pot around the table at dinner. So whenever I make dinner, I always make pasta because it's one of the only dishes that my family can't eat rice with.

But I swear I am about to give up on holding myself back!

If you know anything that is a good substitute for rice, I'm begging you to tell me!
