School finally ended and Adriana was emptying her school tote bag of currently unneeded binders and folders and put them in the desk. Then she put the needed items in her bag. Adriana set her tote bag's strap to hold like a messenger bag. She walked out of the classroom and made her way out of the school gates. Adriana couldn't resist but plug in her earphones in her ears and listen to her iPod playing "Migikata no Cho" by Len and Rin Kagamine.

"H-Hey, Adriana!" a voice called. It was no other than Emily running to Adriana.

     "Hey . . ."

"So, continuing that chat we had this morning, the girls and I are going bowling this Saturday. I was wondering if . . . you'd like to come."

"W-well . . . why are you asking me?" So you can ask me to bring Dylan with me, I bet.

"Because, you usually look so lonely and you're always hanging out with boys. And I thought that you might want some girl time."

"How do I know if this is a joke? You always did that to me in kindergarten. You nearly embarrassed me in front of the whole kindergarten. But you completely stopped joking with me when I became best friends with Dylan."

"I swear, that's over, Adriana. I just want to know you better. Here's my phone number." She pulled a small paper that was ripped out of a memo book with a phone number on it. "I-If you can't go just text me on this number, alright? Bye!" She dashed off to catch up with her friends.

"W-what?" she muttered as she began to walk again. She noticed the dark and cloudy weather above her. "The sky looked pretty clear in the middle of the day. Too bad I forgot to watch the weather today."

She kept walking forward to her house under the gray sky. She had "that" feeling again and another odd feeling and collapsed. The last thing she saw before she went unconscious was a young boy in the boy's uniform from her school.

Adriana's eyes fluttered open to find herself being carried by someone bridal-style. The person carrying her was running.

"Oh, so you're finally awake, Addie?" a voice chuckled.

Addie . . .? she thought in her head. I know only one person who calls me that! She looked up to see a boy; a familiar boy.

"Dylan?!" she exclaimed. Her face was now flushed when she remember how he was holding her. "W-what's going on? Why are you carrying me?"

      "Do you remember fainting?"

     She nodded.

     "Do you remember Wizard4Real?"

     Another nod.

     "That'd be yours truly!"

     "Y-You're Wizard4Real?!"

"Yup! As I said in our chat, I've been through something similar to your phobia. You see, I'm a real wizard, which explains my username. You, on the other hand, are a witch with the power over blades. You're the next Master of Blades. I've been assigned to watch over you to make sure nothing bad happens before you become Master of Blades. I'm supposed to watch over you from afar, but you noticed me looking at you in kindergarten, when we became best friends," Dylan explained in the shortest summary as possible.

"Well, you probably have the wrong person because you know I'm afraid of blades!"

"You're not afraid of blades, Adriana. When you were born someone casted a spell on you to stop you from getting your place in line early. I'll explain this tomorrow. It's cool if I visit your house tomorrow, right?"

"I don't mind at all. I just got to call Emily to stop going to that bowling thing."

He skidded on the concrete and stood away from another boy their age that had light brown hair and green eyes and wore a red and black outfit. He had a smirk on his face.

"So . . . this is the new Master of Blades, huh?" he said. "This is the first time a girl ever was Master of Blades. What a shame."

Dylan let Adriana down with the two similar school bags. "Just stay here, alright?" he said with a calm voice. She looked at him with a worried expression. "There's nothing to worry about. I'll be fine." He turned around to face that boy. "What do you want with her?"

"I just want some fun. And this is the best way to be entertained: have a battle," he said. "And to make it better, why not have one with the new Master of Blades?"

"She doesn't even know her powers yet!" Dylan shouted. "Just fight me instead!"

    Power Activation!

A light purple sphere engulfed him. Dylan Moran transformed into a different look. He had the same haircut but he had silver hair and light purple eyes. He wore black fingerless gloves, a light purple, short sleeved shirt with white sleeves, dark purple shorts, black shoes, and a light brown, hooded cape that draped around his body.

     "D-Dylan, y-y-you just . . .," Adriana said timidly.

"Surprised to see me like this, huh?" he replied, turning his head with his signature grin. "Just don't move, Addie. I promised I'd protect you."

"Stop talking!" the boy shouted. "I just need a little entertainment. How about
a name?"

     "I'm Nero," he replied.

A red bomb appeared in the boy's hand and threw it at Dylan. Dylan took Adriana again and jumped behind a bush. An explosion went off behind them as Dylan held her close to block anything that came flying towards them.

"Stay here and don't move. I don't want you to get hurt." He flew back to the battlefield and prepare for a fight.

"C'mon, this is boring," the boy said.

     "Deal with it. Just fight!"

Dylan held his hands out on top of each other and a fireball blasted over to the boy. He dodged the attack by doing a back flip to his left. The boy called out dozens of small ball of energy and sent them towards him. Lucky for Dylan, he dodged every one that he sent.

"Not so fast, kid," that boy said, making a turning movement with his hands.

Dylan turned around to see a group of energy balls coming towards him. His eyes shrunk when they were coming closer and closer. They made a direct hit. He was lucky that his was still alright. He was on the ground with a lot of scrapes, bruises, and small cuts that weren't deep. He got up again, but he was at his limit and fell unconscious.

"Not so tough now, are you?"

Adriana couldn't stand just watching and acting helpless.

"I can't believe you . . .," she said coming out from the bushes and walking in front of Dylan. She somehow switched where they were standing. Adriana now stood at the place where Nero was. "I don't wanna be so helpless anymore. I can't believe you would just hurt someone for fun!"

"So, Master of Blades finally makes an appearance."

"I don't know what it means to be Master of Blades yet, but I'm going to embrace it this time!"

     Power Activation!

Don't worry, Dylan, she said through telepathy. This time, I'm the one who's going to protect you!
Thank you, Master of Blades, Dylan's voice rang in her mind. And good luck.

A light blue sphere engulfed her. Her after-shoulder brown hair was now down to her mid back. She had a dark blue bow to tie her signature side tail, which now looked wavy. She wore a light blue, long sleeved dress that went down to just above her knees. The sleeves had a white lining and dark blue ruffles like the bottom of her dress had. She wore dark brown boots and black fingerless gloves.

"So this is the power of Master of Blades," the boy said.

"I haven't learned your name yet. Why not tell me?" she said with her fists clenched.

"Heh. The name's Darion. And you are?"

     "Cordelia."
